Operation Hero provides deployment experience to children
Staff Sgt. Andre Ward, 926th Aerospace Medicine Squadron passes out frisbees to children during Operation HERO April 6, 2019, at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. Operation HERO allowed nearly 100 children of 926th Wing reservists to participate in a simulated deployment line to learn what it is like for their parents to deploy.
