555 RHS returns home from six-month deployment
NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- Personnel from the 555th RED HORSE Squadron deplane the KC-135 aircraft that brought them home to Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., on Oct. 22 from a six-month deployment to Southwest Asia. The squadron deployed more than 30 members to various locations in the region where they repostured and dispositioned assets, and closed down camp sites, among other retrograde efforts. Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operational Repair Squadron Engineers provide a mobile, self-sufficient force responsible for heavy repair and construction in remote environments.
