Reservists become Fit to Fight
A line of 926th Group members push it out during a Unit Training Assembly on Oct. 24. The UTA, held Oct. 24-25, brought approximately 135 of the group’s Traditional Reservists, Active Guard and Reserve members, and Air Reserve Technicians together to train and prepare for possible contingencies, as well as daily job responsibilities. The two-day drill began with a physical fitness test that assessed individuals’ height and weight, a 1.5-mile run, sit-ups and pushups. The weekend also included a Commander’s Call, where members were briefed on many issues from finance to the deployment process. Throughout the drill, reservists were provided with flu shots and legal assistance for wills and Powers of Attorney.
