84 TES safety cup
Lt. Col. John Breazeale, 84th Test and Evaluation Squadron commander (right), accepts the Fifth Annual 53rd Wing Commander’s Cup Safety Challenge first-place prize from Col. Michael Gantt, 53rd Wing commander, at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., on Sept. 29. The squadron secured the win in the small group category for their innovate safety campaigns and practices. The 16-week, wing-wide contest was held in recognition of the 101 Critical Days of Summer safety campaign. It called upon participants to hold safety briefings, slogan contests, seat belt surveys and Commander's Safety Calls, and create mishap prevention bulletins and safety magazine articles, among other events. In addition to the cup, squadron personnel were awarded with a two-day pass. (Photo courtesy of 84th TES.)
