STARBASE graduates learn about a new career
NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- (Front left) Airman First Class Marissa Henderson, 99th Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Protection Flight, shows a student from Lowman Elementary School how to spray a fire here hose Nov. 5. The exhibition was part of a graduation ceremony for the STARBASE Nellis class. STARBASE is a science, technology, engineering and math-focused program geared toward fifth grade students in the Las Vegas Valley.
