926th Wing named AFA's top Reserve unit of 2016

The 926th Wing was recently named the Air Force Association's Air Force Reserve Unit of 2016. This award is given to the unit that "displays superior performance and outstanding achievements." Additionally, Lt. Col. Michael Bess, 84th Test and Evaluation Squadron, received the AFA’s 2016 President's Award for Air Force Reserve Command. This award is given for "displaying outstanding flying achievement and continued superior performance." The awards will be formally presented during the AFA's Air & Space Conference and Technology Exposition in Washington D.C. in September. The AFA connects service members and the Total Force family through professional development, unique programs and support initiatives.
