926th Security Forces Squadron awarded at AFRC level

Two 926th Security Forces Squadron members here were recently announced Air Force Reserve Command's top cops for 2014.

Senior Airman Jhovany Romo, 926th SFS Fire Team Member, was awarded Outstanding Security Forces Airman of the year.

Romo was selected for revamping the installation's security forces squadron's supply tracking system, accounting for 100 percent of inventory and operability. Additionally, he created an appointment database to establish tracking for more than 70 personnel, enhancing attendance by 70 percent.

Master Sgt. Adam Jessee, 926th SFS Operations Superintendent, was awarded Outstanding Security Forces Support Staff Senior Noncommissioned Officer of the year.

Jessee was selected for directing the framework of the squadron armory, securing $3.5 million worth of assets vital for the base's defense. Additionally, he managed the combined Regular Air Force/Reserve standards and evaluation program, certifying 400 personnel and raising the compliance standard by 45 percent.
