926th Group names its field grade officer of the half Published Oct. 6, 2009 926th Group public affairs EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Maj. Joy Patton was recently presented the 926th Group's semi-annual award in the field grade officer category for the January through June 2009 period. Major Patton is an Intelligence Officer in the 84th Test and Evaluation Squadron at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., a geographically-separated unit under the 926th GP. As part of Total Force Integration, she is the deputy intelligence commander for the Regular Air Force's 68th Electronic Warfare Intelligence Flight at Eglin AFB, comprised of more than 45 military and civilian personnel. The flight provides current intelligence support to 1,800 personnel from four groups at 19 locations, and supports 24/7 electronic warfare reprogramming which provides worldwide analysis of threats affecting Operational Test and Evaluation functions. Additionally, the flight has created a unique Threat Definition mission and produces tailored enemy air defense studies such as the C2 Target Analysis Identification Guide and other specialized intelligence products that are used throughout the Air Force and worldwide.
