Creech sensor operator recognized for going above and beyond

Staff Sergeant Aida Solis (center), a sensor operator in the 78th Reconnaissance Squadron, received an Excellence in Action award March 3. The award is presented monthly by the Nellis/Creech Chief's Group to deserving Airmen who have gone above and beyond the normal call of duty. The presenters of this award included (from left to right) Chief Master Sgt. Michael Klintworth, 432nd Wing/Air Expeditionary Wing command chief, Chief Master Sgt. Shawn Smith, 432nd Operations Group chief enlisted manager, Chief Master Sgt. Timothy Jordan, 820th Red Horse Squadron first sergeant, and Chief Master Sgt. Steven Henderson, 78th RS superintendent. As a sensor operator, Sergeant Solis works with pilots to operate Remotely Piloted Aircraft via a satellite link, searching for enemy targets.
