78th RS member secures AFRC-level award

A member of the 78th Reconnaissance Squadron was recently presented the American Legion Spirit of Service Award for his performance as a Senior Mission Intelligence Coordinator, here.

Senior Airman Samuel, a reservist integrated into the 432nd Wing, provides coordination and support to the MQ-9 Reaper intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance operations. Additionally, he conducts dynamic intelligence analysis, mission planning and combat mission support to warfighters on the ground.

Airman Samuel was recognized at the Air Force Reserve Command level for conducting more than 1,100 combat support hours for Operation ENDURING FREEDOM, managing more than 60 combat support missions vital to eliminating numerous weapons caches, and analyzing more than 450 hours of full-motion video to deliver intelligence to ground force commanders.
