A Group of maintainers and their families enjoyed a visit by Santa here Dec. 8.

The 926th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron helped coordinate an F-15 Aggressor aircraft taxi ride down the flightline so Santa could hear the kids' wish lists.

"The event was planned around our Unit Training Assembly to maximize Reserve support," said Chief Master Sergeant Michael Brunin, Flanker Aircraft Maintenance Squadron Superintendent.

The Airmen received training through a unique opportunity. "Reservists from Flanker AMU performed the entire taxi portion, from the production level to the launching and recovering of Santa," said Brunin.

The second annual event also included a holiday party, set up in two hangars to accommodate the turnout. Food and games were provided by the 57th Maintenance Group Spouses' organization.

"My favorite part was seeing the excitement on my grandson's face as Santa was coming in," said Tech. Sergeant Barbara Powell, 926th AMXS Commander's Support Staff Noncommissioned Officer in Charge.

"The decorations and stations for food were planned out very well. And the holiday design painted on the jet added an extra special touch," she said.
