926th Force Support Squadron changes hands

NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nevada -- Maj. Jennifer Cornell took command of the 926th Force Support Squadron during a ceremony at The Club on March 31. As commander, Cornell is responsible for 125 Airmen working in communications, logistics, supply, sustainment, personnel, education and training, Airman & Family Readiness, and Explosive Ordnance Disposal. Cornell previously served as the 926th Wing's Chief of Equal Opportunity. She earned her active-duty Air Force commission from Oregon State University, Oregon, and joined the Reserve in 2011. Her assignments have also included Adjutant, Section Commander, Readiness Officer in Charge, Military Personnel Section Chief, Sustainment Flight Commander and Chief of Protocol. She has deployed in support of Exercises EAGER LION and EAGLE RESOLVE, and Operation ENDURING FREEDOM.
