NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nevada -- The 2017 Air Force Association Aerospace Awards for Air Force Reserve Command were just announced. Congratulations to the 26th Space Aggressor Squadron and the 379th Space Range Squadron, both under the 926th Operations Group.
- David C. Schilling Award - 26th Space Aggressor Squadron
- Theodore Von Karman Award - 379th Space Range Squadron
The David C. Schilling Award recognizes the most outstanding contribution to national defense in the field of flight, in the atmosphere or space. The Theodore Von Karman Award recognizes the most outstanding contribution to national defense in the field of science and engineering relating to aerospace activity.
This is the second year in a row that the 379th SRS has received this recognition. Both units will now go on to compete at the Air Force level.
