MAJOR UNIT/FORCE STRUCTURE:

  • The 926th Wing is composed of 2 groups with 7 geographically separated units, and 4 direct reporting units that integrate with units from Air Combat Command (ACC), Air Force Space Command (AFSPC) and Air Education and Training Command (AETC)

    • 726th Operations Group (726 OG)

      • The 13th Reconnaissance Squadron integrates RQ-4 pilots, sensor operators and instructors with the 9th Reconnaissance Wing (ACC) (319 RW effective 1 Jun 19) at Beale AFB, CA

      • The 78th Attack Squadron integrates MQ-9 pilots, sensor operators and intelligence professionals with the 432d Wing (ACC) and 432d Air Expeditionary Wing at Creech AFB, NV

      • The 91st Attack Squadron integrates MQ-9 pilots, sensor operators and intelligence professionals with the 432d Wing (ACC) and 432d Air Expeditionary Wing at Creech AFB, NV

      • The 429th Attack Squadron integrates MQ-9 instructor pilots, sensor operators and intelligence personnel with the 49th Wing (AETC) at Holloman AFB, NM

      • Detachment 1, 726 OG integrates MQ-9 instructor pilots and sensor operators with the 432d Wing (ACC) at Creech AFB, NV

    • 926th Operations Group (926 OG)

      • The 14th Test Squadron executes operational test and evaluation of space and cyber weapon systems on behalf of AFSPC and ACC at Schriever AFB, CO

      • The 26th Space Aggressor Squadron replicates enemy threats during tests and exercises supporting joint and AFSPC missions at Schriever AFB, CO

      • The 84th Test and Evaluation Squadron integrates aircrew, maintenance, intelligence and communication specialists into the 53d Wing (ACC) to advance operational test and evaluation missions at Eglin AFB, FL

      • The 379th Space Range Squadron operates the Defense Department’s only electronic warfare Space Test and Training Range at Schriever AFB, CO

      • The 706th Fighter Squadron provides expertise in every Air Force warfighting domain, fighter aircraft, and associated support personnel supporting the Center’s missions at Nellis AFB, NV

      • Detachment 1, 926 OG trains Airmen in the Air Operations Center weapons system with the 505th Command and Control Wing (ACC) at Hurlburt Field, FL

    • The 926th Aerospace Medicine Squadron provides flight medical and dental services to the wing and the 555th RED HORSE Squadron (RHS)

    • The 926th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron integrates maintainers into the 57th Maintenance Group as a classic associate unit

    • The 926th Force Support Squadron provides personnel, sustainment and communications services, as well as logistical and tailored civil engineering support to the wing and the 555 RHS

    • The 926th Security Forces Squadron trains Airmen to include the 555 RHS based at Nellis AFB to be an integrated response force to protect expeditionary Air Force missions

INSTALLATION INFORMATION: Public-Public/Public-Private Partnership Initiatives: STARBASE Nellis. Under the stewardship of the 926th Wing, STARBASE Nellis academy provides STEM curriculum to participating schools in the Las Vegas community. The academy, housed on Nellis AFB, is a first for the state.
