Mission support squadron secures two 10th Air Force level awards

NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- The 926th Mission Support Squadron received the Major General Eugene L. Eubank award and the Gerrit D. Foster, Jr. Outstanding Military Personnel Program award both in the small base category from 10th Air Force on Dec. 6. The squadron was recognized for helping Air Force Reserve Command meet its manning goal by 100 percent, leading the conversion to vPC-GR months before deadline, building a family readiness program from the ground up, establishing a Reserve Deployment Readiness Center, reducing its computer network threats by 30 percent, conducting an internal audit resulting in zero discrepancies, training Regular Air Force Unit Deployment Managers, saving $39,000 during a new building renovation, and hosting the first base Individual Ready Reserve Enhanced muster for the Air Reserve Personnel Center.
