Street League Skateboarding comes to the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas Sept. 25 for the tour finale.

PHOENIX -- In front of 6,500 screaming fans, 15-year-old Nyjah Huston from Huntington Beach, Calif., captured the $150,000 first place prize and assumed the overall lead of the all-new Street League DC Pro Tour at Phoenix's Jobing.com Arena.

Strategy, big tricks and consistency were the key to Huston's victory as he edged out five other contenders who all had a shot to win the first of a three‐leg tour on Aug. 28 in Glendale, Ariz. The Street League Tour now moves to its second stop at Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, Calif., on Saturday, and will come to its finale at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas on Sept. 25.

All U.S. military personnel can now take advantage of an exclusive "Buy One, Get One Free" ticket offer by presenting their military identification cards at the arena box office. Members may also gain access to a VIP Hospitality Area for a chance to meet Rob Dyrdek, Street League host and star of MTV shows Rob and Big, and Fantasy Factory, as well as other professional skateboarders.

In addition, Air Force Reserve members can receive two free tickets to one of the events by logging into the Get One Now Web site at www.Get1Now.us/StreetLeague and submitting referrals for qualified Reserve candidates. Members who do not have access to the Internet can call the Air Force Reserve Qualification Center at (877) 786-2372.

Finally, Street League fans can also participate in the first-ever professional street skateboarding fantasy league by visiting the streetleague.com Web site and clicking on "Fantasy Game." The fantasy league allows fans to choose a line-up of six skaters for each stop of the series and compete against their friends, local groups, and entire community based on the final points standings of these skaters at each event. Awards include prize money and product giveaways. The fantasy game player with the highest total points from all of their skater line-ups will win the grand prize of $10,000.

Street League's $1.2 million purse is the largest in skateboarding history and almost double the combined winnings for all other skate contests. Nearly $400,000 will be awarded at each of the three tour stops. Dyrdek, who has spent the past six years working to bring Street League to fruition, kicked off the tour in Arizona by turning off the arena lights and introducing the seven finalists to the roaring crowd.

"[The event] was simply a dream come true for me. It would not have been possible without the support from our best pros and the undeniable entertainment that an instant scoring format brings to skateboarding contests," said the Street League creator. "Beyond anything it was the best skateboarding I have ever witnessed in my life."

The competitions will air on ESPN2 every Wednesday at 5 p.m. Pacific Standard Time, through Sept. 29.
