Airman recognized as best in 10th Air Force

NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- Senior Airman Josiah Walker was awarded Personnel Airman of the Year for 10th Air Force on Dec. 6. Airman Walker is a customer service apprentice in the 926th Mission Support Squadron, responsible for providing the Newcomers' briefing, managing file plans and auditing master personnel records in preparation for automation. He secured the award for having helped cultivate more than 50 programs in support of 323 reservists, assisting with a 43 percent increase in manning, auditing and correcting more than 250 records with a 100 percent success rate, and performing overall at a non-commissioned officer level, among many other accomplishments.
