Non-commissioned officer recognized as best in 10th Air Force

Tech. Sgt. Lee McKinstry was awarded Education and Training NCO of the Year for 10th Air Force on Dec. 6. Sergeant McKinstry is the education and training manager for the 926th Mission Support Squadron, responsible for overseeing all aspects of education and training programs to include managing the development of instructional products, planning, directing, organizing and coordinating operations of the Advance Distributed Learning System and multimedia education programs, and monitoring the accuracy and reliability of data in the Military Personnel Data System. He secured the award for scheduling and tracking more than 50 member's CDCs at a 95 percent pass rate, processing 62 tuition assistance applications accounting for $30,000 for Airmen, coordinating CCAF graduates' recognition at the commencement ceremony, and assisting a geographically-separated squadron achieve 100 percent compliance on their Unit Compliance Inspection, among many other accomplishments.
